Snowcollies

The snow is still falling, the wind has picked up and the temps are dropping.  Now we are all inside, staying warm and snuggling with the collies.  But earlier today the collies had fun outside playing in the snow.  So we thought we share some videos from earlier today.

Collies, like most dogs and children, LOVE snow.  They just can't get enough snow.

Watching them frolic and play in the snow reminds of when I was a child, I would stay outside playing until my mom made me come inside.

This little girl is 6 month old Kelsea.  She is visiting, and this was her first experience with snow.  She was so happy and had so much fun!

  1. That looks like so much fun! I would love to play in it, but then would want the ability to teleport out back to our 70 degrees. ;)

  6. Mr Reilly would love to play in some snow - always had trouble getting him inside when it snowed = Denny - he hates the cold even though he has the biggest thickest coat

    1. The smooth girls actually stay out longer than Ryder. He gets the snow stuck between his toes and the paw pads, and then needs help to get the snow out.

    1. Some dogs get nervous, my mother's collie is older and he is afraid he will slip. So snow makes him nervous, he won't walk up the three steps to go inside.

    1. You should be able to see the videos now, I uploaded them to youtube, and then to here. Uploading to Blogger seems to limit who can view the videos.

    2. Back to watch the fun videos of the pups in the snow! What a great time, and there really is something about a dogs first snow fall that is special. I have Todd's taped too, and like your videos, you can't help but smile!!
