It's Springtime, and the collies are ready to do a Primal Food review!

We had to take a blogging break last month, so the collies are a little late posting our reviews, but that just means they get to try multiple new products this month!  The collies are always happy to do reviews for our wonderful friends at Chewy.com, and the first is a product from a company we love and trust.

We were sent a package of Primal Beef Liver Munchies dog treats.  These freeze-dried dog treats are human-grade, and made with high quality ingredients.  The beef is raised in the United States without antibiotics or added hormones.  And the only ingredient in Primal Beef Liver Munchies is "beef liver," so there are no harmful chemicals or preservatives in these treats.

And with only one ingredient, these treats are safe for dogs of all ages!  Our puppies loved them, and so did our adults, they are a perfect reward when training for dog shows or teaching a new puppy some fun tricks.  We love that Primal doesn't add any sugar to their treats, so we don't have to worry about expanding our collies waistlines.

Check out these Key Benefits:

  • Human-grade treats for both dogs and cats are crunchy and have an irresistible flavor
  • Made with a single source protein and without preservatives, added salt, or added sugar, they are the kind of snack dogs and cats can rally behind
  • Produced using beef raised in the United States for a high protein and healthy delicacy
  • Treats get their concentrated meaty flavor and high-density nourishment from the low-temperature freeze-drying technique
  • As a single source protein, Beef Liver Munchies offer a healthy snack for cats and a nutritious training and obedience reward for dogs

And Chewy.com has these treats at a great price, and many different varieties, so the collies all think you should click on this link and check out Primal Treats today!  (CLICK ME)

The collies received these goodies free of charge from Chewy.com in exchange for their honest review.

The collies, and Pumpkin Kitty, are asked to do a review!

The collies, and their kitty sister, Pumpkin, were asked to do a review for Chewy.com!

We waited until Abby's Birthday to try these Primal dog treats, since her birthday is always a cause for celebration.  And with a name like Primal, we knew we needed to find an unusual setting to do this review.  So we decided to take the treats with us to a local lighthouse.  The ocean, sky and the solitary lighthouse seemed like the perfect setting to enjoy "Primal" dog treats.

Abby, Scarlett and Holly took the review very seriously!

Can I have one now?

Abby is so ready to try these treats!

Abby thought the treats were packaged in a pretty, appetizing manner.  Being a label reader, I was more concerned with the back of the package.  And when I scanned the ingredient list, I was very pleased!  There is only one ingredient in Primal Foods Liver Munchies - and that ingredient is Turkey Liver!  These treats are gluten free, grain free, and made in the USA.  But what about the taste?  The collies all voted, and after much drool, and taste testing, they give Primal Foods Liver Munchies their highest rating - 4 PAWS!  This is a product I would definitely buy for my collies.

We were actually lucky enough to be asked to do another review on a Primal Foods Product in the past - you can find it here:  Primal Foods

But it wasn't only the collies who were invited to do a review.   Pumpkin kitty was also sent treats by Chewy.com.  They sent her a bag of Blue Buffalo Kitty Yums, Savory Salmon version.  And apparently these treats were so delicious she could not wait until we returned from the Lighthouse.  (we were only gone about an hour!)  She ripped open the bag, and had a kitty feast!  As you can see, she LOVED these treats.  Blue Buffalo made a truly irresistible flavor when they created these cat treats.  Pumpkin gives these treats her highest rating - 4 PAWS, and is insisting we buy another package tomorrow!

Now this is the face of a contented cat!

Primal Foods review!

A while back we were asked to do a product review, our very first, by an awesome company called Primal Foods.  We had never heard of them before, so we agreed to review their products.  It turns out that they are offering some pretty wonderful products, that feature organic ingredients!  As the health of our collies is one of our main concerns when choosing a food or dog treat, we love that Primal Foods uses organic fruits and vegetables in their products!  But what about the next concern, how does it taste? (Which is the primary focus of all our collies, and all dogs, everywhere!)

The collies tried Primal's Freeze-dried formula....and they give it four paws up!  They devoured this food, and were left drooling for more!  And after looking at the ingredient list, I also gave this product my highest rating, take a look:

Chicken, Chicken Necks, Chicken Gizzards, Organic Kale, Organic Carrots, Organic Yams, Chicken Livers, Organic Broccoli, Organic Apples, Cranberries, Blueberries, Organic Pumpkin Seeds, Organic Sunflower Seeds, Minerals (Zinc Sulfate, Copper Carbonate, Sodium Selenite), Organic Parsley, Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Salmon Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Quinoa Sprout Powder, Dried Organic Kelp, Alfalfa, Natural Vitamin E, Mixed Tocopherols (natural preservative).

Meat is the primary ingredient, and it's also listed as the first three main ingredients!  That's something we like to see in a quality dog food.  It's followed by Organic Kale, Carrots, Yams, chicken livers (more meat) broccoli, apples, cranberries, blueberries, etc. This food is packed full of nutrious ingredients, and the collies enjoyed it.

Primal Foods also offers an excellent line of dog treats as well.  The collies loved Primal Food's dog treats, and we even brought the treats to dog shows with us, to use as a reward during judging!  So if you are looking for a dog food with quality ingredients, you should definitely check out Primal Foods!  We are including a link to their website, and a short video about their company:
