Guardian - a collie poem

The collie guards the castle,
so noble to behold.

And with each passing season,
he stands ever resolute and bold.

A coat of snow and copper,
he walks with strength and grace.

And with a steadfast heart,
he remains a sentinel of this place.

The collie guards the castle...
and is the guardian of my heart.

  1. Such a regal and noble dog to match the poem.

  2. I really like that poem, and the photos are so beautiful too! Where is that? It's such an interesting looking place. Your Collies are beautiful as ever!

  3. Lovely. Is that Gillette's Castle? I was there once, but it was so long ago, I don't remember.

  4. Wonderful poem and stately scene-between the castle and the Collie, I'd pick the Collie. Looks like Scotland or Ireland.
    Have a great afternoon.
