What a weekend!  My daughter handled one of my sister's collies, and won Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Variety.  We have been taking little Scarlett to handling class, to get her ready for the upcoming collie specialty season.  So hopefully, we will soon have news about Scarlett to share!

She is now six months old, and is looking more like her mother every day!

Two of a kind!

All my dogs are very attached to each other.  Abby and Holly have lived together a few years now, and though they don't show a strong bond, they enjoy each other's company.  Ryder and Kori are littermates, and while they aren't as inseperable as they were when they were younger, they are still very close. 

But I am constantly amazed at how the relationship between Scarlett and Kori has developed.  Now that Scarlett is 6 months old, she and Kori have become best friends.  They prefer to sleep together, and are constantly playing together.

 

Abby, Holly and Ryder will join in during playtime or naptime, but these two sisters are never far apart.

They have become very bonded.  Anyone else experience this with their pets?

Dog Treat Warning...

The holidays are almost here...and like us, I'm sure many of you will be buying your dogs treats and presents.  So I thought I would share this, as many of the treats made in China are still causing fatalities in dogs.  So be careful before giving your furkids any treats this holiday season!

Mischief Monday...

This just made me laugh!  My daughter put Pumpkin’s food in her carrier, figuring the dogs couldn’t reach it in the little cat carrier…..but she was wrong. 

Scarlett puppy squeezed herself right in there to “help” Pumpkin finish her dinner!

Can't I come too?

This will be my first full week back to work.  It's hard leaving for work, when you have this face watching you as you drive away...

New Award!

We were given a new award!  From our friends and their mom over at Dogs N Pawz.  Isn't it a pretty yummy award?

Today is my first day back at work, and I'm missing my collies.  They were very good at helping me rest.
