The Guardian - a collie poem

The collie guards the castle,
so noble to behold.

And with each passing season,
he stands ever resolute and bold.

A coat of snow and copper,
he walks with strength and grace.

And with a steadfast heart,
he remains a sentinel of this place.

The collie guards the castle...
and his role of guardian he doth embrace.

  3. Lovely. Is that Gillette's Castle? I was there once, but it was so long ago, I don't remember.

  4. Wonderful poem and stately scene-between the castle and the Collie, I'd pick the Collie. Looks like Scotland or Ireland.
    Have a great afternoon.
