This week we had some exceptional weather! It’s been sunny and in the 70’s, so we have been heading outside as much as possible, before the cold weather sets in and I start to hibernate. I’m really hoping this mild, Autumn weather lingers through the end of October. It’s such a joy to hike with my collies amidst the beautiful Fall foliage with the sunlight setting all the leaves aglow in the trees surrounding us.

This was taken on our hike through Chatfield Hollow |

We don’t get to Chatfield Hollow often, but it’s a lovely State park. |
This season is providing a never ending display of color and sunshine.

This was at Quinnipiac University, after a therapy visit this week |

And of course, we visited Strawberry Hollow Farm again |
What’s your favorite season? Please let us know in the comments!
The Autumn leaves are so beautiful and so are the bright orange pumpkins and you Collie's blend in beautifully! Our favorite season is Autumn!
ReplyDeleteWe love a freezing cold winter with loads of snow the best, then probably fall, spring and we have no real use for summer. We love that pumpkin place, perfect for the season for your walk.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful dog
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful photos and fall looks so beautifully impressive!
ReplyDeleteWow...just gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeletePeeEss....Since my husband isn't retired yet, we haven't been able to get to the East Coast in our RV just yet...but it is definitely on the bucket list!
What beautiful fall scenery you have around you. We like spring, summer and fall but could do without winter anytime.
ReplyDeleteNothing better than fall in New England, we are celebrating it to you east in MA.
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "Ayyy, you can't go wrong with sunshine and color! Unless you're our Dada, who hides from sunshine like some kind of vampire."
ReplyDeleteLulu: "True, Dada hates sunshine. That's why he moved to California."
Java Bean: "Dada says his favorite season back east was fall, but here fall is just an extension of summer, so I guess here his favorite season would be winter."
Lulu: "What a coincidence, mine too! It's cooler, and sometimes it rains, which makes it easier to dig holes in the yard."
