Fall in New England...

Wow, it's been a tough month or so. Kia was attacked by the dog, the merger happened at work and I now have new bosses, my niece was killed, Holly had to have her toe amputated...I'm almost afraid to consider what might happen next!

But life goes on, and it's beautiful here in New England. We have been so busy! We attended a Meet The Breeds event.

Another club member brought her two rough collies too. Everyone loved the collies, but Ryder was definitely the star. Adults and children commented on how beautiful he was, and one little boy told his mother to "look at the fancy collie!"

Our club held a herding day, and many different herding breeds attended.

This boy was just too cute!
Kori - she did an excellant job on her herding test, just like her mom, Abby!

Friday, we took a few of the collies for a ride, to take some Fall pictures....

Ryder - I love the way the light in this picture seems to be shining down on him!

We received many compliments on the collies, everyone loved how well-behaved they were. One of the owners of the farm markets said they were better behaved than most children, and could come back anytime! We are hoping for some nice weather this weekend, so we can take the collies on a hike. Thanks everyone for your comments on my previous posts, things are finally getting back to normal!

  1. We are so very sorry to hear about the loss in your family. Our hearts are hurting for you.
The pictures are just beautiful, Ryder is indeed a handsome boy!! We can tell just by looking at the pictures how well behaved they all are.
Prayers and Hugs from us to you.

  2. I am very sorry about your niece--my condolences to you and your family. You certainly have had a lot to deal with in the last little while--I hope things are settling down and I hope Holly is okay. I love all your pictures but the collies among the various fall settings are so beautiful. Ryder is especially photogenic and I think the picture of him in the pumpkin patch is the best!!

  3. Glad hear things are starting to get back to normal. Looks like you had a fantastic day out at the meet the breeds day. What lovely photo's of such beautiful puppies. Milo & Jet

Holly is looking great after her illness, I couldnt even tell which foot it was so it was definitely the right decision for her!

I just love the action shot of your daughter with Ryder - I cant wait to show my hubby all of these gorgeous photos (as Ive said, he had one just like Ryder but tri coloured in his previous marriage) just as soon as he is home again - I know he will love them!

Credit to you all for such beautiful fall photos, they are quite simply stunning and really made me smile!

    Thanks for sharing
