Today held some nice surprises...and day 2 of the challenge

Today two things happened that made me happy and proud.  My daughter was hired three weeks ago as a full time veterinary assistant, her first full time job.  And today she helped save the lives of two huskies who had fallen through the ice.  When the dogs were brought to the hospital, my daughter was ready with warm towels, and dried their coats with dog hair dryers, and warmed them up.  When they arrived they were hypothermic, their temperatures were in the low 90's.  I'm very proud of her role in assisting the veterinarians in saving these dogs.

And then tonight we went to handling class, and Kia worked with little Tate.  This was the first time we had seen Tate since he left us on January 3rd.  He was so happy to see us, and kept running back to me.  It was so sweet to see that he hasn't forgotten us.  This was his first handling class, and he did very good.  I was very proud of our little man!  Last night my mother fell again, and this time she broke her pelvis, so we needed some good to balance out the bad.

And today is the 2nd day of the three day Quote Challenge.  So here we go...

Our new friend over at the Lucky collie blog has nominated us in the 3 day quote challenge.

"Happiness is a warm puppy."
Charles M. Schulz

"I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love.  For me they are the role model for being alive."
Gilda Radner

'If your dog is fat, you're not getting enough exercise."
unknown

Now it's my turn to nominate other blogs...

There are three rules to this challenge, and they are:
1. Post for three consecutive days.
2. Choose and share one or three quotes each day.
3. Challenge three additional bloggers each day.

1) I Challenge Dorysbackyard
2) And Gardening with Wyatt
3) And Groovy golden doodles

    1. Most if the time her job has been kind of sad, it's these moments that make it all worth it.
