The collies also get to do a review...it is a collie blog afterall!

The collies were not left out of the fun.  Chewy.com also sent the collies a new product to review.  The collies were not paid any money for their review, which is good, since they don't have any pockets!

So let's check out what Chewy sent for them!

Hey Kori, whatcha got there?

Nothing Mom, you worry about yourself!

We received a container of Evangers Dried Beef Livers.  Evangers is a company with a good reputation, which is important to us, as we only review products that we feel are safe for the collies and cats.  We will only recommend products that we would feed our gang, and we are very picky! What we love about these treats is that they contain only one ingredient, just beef liver, that's it!  And check out the key benefits:

Key Benefits
  • Made from a single ingredient
  • Grain & gluten-free treats
  • No additives or artificial ingredients
  • Highly palatable
  • Rich in nutrients
  • Suitable for both dogs & cats

We love these treats, and as you can see, Kori loves them too.  (She has repeatedly stolen the container, she just can't get enough!)  So the collies give Evangers Beef Livers 4 paws way up!  Thanks Chewy, the collies are wagging and drooling in appreciation!  Because they seemed to enjoy these treats so much, we took them with us on our trip to the Collie National.

Holly, ready to go in the ring

Holly, in the veterans class, standing at attention.  She is hoping for some Evangers Beef Liver!

She is totally focused on those treats!

All Tired out after the show!  The dog show life!

Day 2, and the Evangers are still holding their appeal!

And here are some random pictures from the week...

It was collie heaven, being surrounded by all these beauties all week!

Did you say "cookies?"

Sweet collie, dreaming of winning?

It was a fun week, but we are all happy to be home, and back to blogging about our lives with collies!

The kitties get to do a review...

The awesome folks over at Chewy.com sent us a product for the cats to review.  The product was sent to us for free, in exchange for our honest opinion.  This month we received a package of Natures Variety Instinct Raw Boost Minis.  We tried the duck variety, and it seemed to be a great choice...

Waiting for me to feed them dinner...

Ghost, trying to lay claim to the package

Pumpkin is not going to put up with that!

Rawrrr!

Time for the taste test, can it sooth the savage beasts?

Cats have to give everything a sniff test...

And we have a winner!  They are calling a truce to enjoy the Raw Boost Minis
Both cats really seemed to enjoy the taste of the Raw Boost Minis.  So what about the ingredients?

Ingredients:
Duck (including ground duck bone), turkey, turkey liver, turkey heart, pumpkinseeds, carrots, apples, butternut squash, ground flaxseed, montmorillonite clay, dried kelp, broccoli, apple cider vinegar, salmon oil, mixed tocopherols, rosemary extract, blueberries, dried chicory root

Looking at the ingredient list, this is definitely a product I will buy for the cats. I was very happy that the ingredients listed do not include any harmful chemicals or words that I cannot even pronounce.  This seems like a great option for people who want the benefits of a Raw diet, without all the fuss.  We give Nature's Variety Raw Boost Minis 4 paws up!

*** While it may have appeared that Ghost and Pumpkin were fighting, I want to reassure everyone that they are both fine, and the "battle" was just play.

Celebrating 2 birthdays today!

Today is Dr Seuss's birthday, and it's also our Mom's birthday.  So in their honor, we collies created today's post!  (Now we know it isn't perfect, but we are dogs you know!)

Do you have a ball?
It doesn't matter if it's big or small.
It doesn't matter if it's green or blue,
any kind of ball will do!

You could it throw it and I could fetch,
or you could toss it and I could catch!
Just think of all the fun
if we had just one!

A ball fills a canine heart with much delight
We wag and we tremble as we watch it's flight
over the grass and out of sight
And then we charge after with all our might.
We could retrieve a ball until it's late at night!

Do you have a bed?
A soft place I can lay my doggie head?
Would you share your bed with me?
I wouldn't take up much room you'll see,

And I could guard you while you sleep,
and I can help you count your sheep
And when the counting is complete,
I can herd them while you slumber in dreams so sweet.

Do you have a place for me in your heart?
That's where all the great loves have to start...
